We are very excited about the upcoming annual Rendezvous Independence Day celebration. We have family friendly events scheduled on Saturday, July 3 and Sunday, July 4.
Saturday, July 3rd
We will have the Bigfoot Fun Run starting at Town Hall at 9:30 a.m. and the Sidewalk Chalk contest beginning at 9 a.m. The Chelatchie Prairie Railroad will have several train runs throughout the day.
Sunday, July 4th
We will have the parade starting at noon, followed by Couch Races, Lawn Mower Races, live music, kids’ festival area, and many local food and craft vendors. Fireworks are scheduled for dusk. The Chelatchie Prairie Railroad will have several train runs throughout the day.

If you are interested in volunteering for this year’s Rendezvous celebration, we have plenty of opportunities including clean up, set up, crowd and traffic control.
